Suitcases, Sandcastles, and Little Anvik by Dr. Aparna Ajith is a heartfelt travelogue that blends the joys of motherhood with the wonder of exploration. Journeying with her Navy husband and their little son Anvik, the author captures moments across India’s diverse landscapes—from the misty hills of Kodaikanal and the sunlit shores of the Andamans to the vibrant cities of Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Goa. More than a record of destinations, the book is a lyrical memoir of first flights, family road trips, pilgrimages, and the quiet in-between moments that turn into lasting memories. Written with honesty, tenderness, and poetic clarity, this evocative narrative celebrates love, resilience, and togetherness, reminding readers that the true essence of travel lies not just in places visited, but in the bonds we carry along the way.
